Online registration for the Winter Session IS NOW OPEN.
Classes begin January 16, 2024 for 10 weeks. There are 20 class sessions (2 per week). Each class is two hours long. There are morning and evening classes.
- Ages 18+
- Instruction Levels: Basic - Level 4
- Morning or evening in-person classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays
- Free children's program during class
- Registration Fee: $25 - the required class book is free!
Students may register for either morning or evening classes. If you register for classes, please plan to attend at least 16 classes. Hopefully, you can attend all 20 classes to earn a "Perfect Attendance Certificate"!

CLASS LEVEL OPTIONS
When you register, you will need to pick your class level. Here are the descriptions of the class levels.
- BASIC LEVEL – I can name a couple of items in English, but I cannot describe what is happening around me in English. (Beginners)
- LEVEL 1 – I can name some items in English, but I cannot describe what is happening around me in complete English sentences. I usually use one word or short phrases to describe what’s happening. I speak English very slowly, and it is often difficult for others to understand me when I try to speak English. (Beginners – Low)
- LEVEL 2 – I can describe what’s my environment in a limited way in English. I can name more things in English, and I can use more phrases or sentences to describe things in English, but my sentences may have errors. It may be difficult for others to understand my English because of pronunciation errors. (Beginners – High)
- LEVEL 3 – I can describe what’s happening around me in English using complete sentences. Although some of my sentences are not correct, I can use more English words and I can explain things in greater detail. I can use the past tense or future tense to describe what happened or what will happen. Others may have some difficulty understanding my pronunciation in English. (Intermediate – Low)
- LEVEL 4 – I can describe what’s happening around me in five or six English sentences. I can name more things in English and I can describe things in detail. Sometimes I use complex sentences when I speak in English. My sentences are easy to understand and mostly correct. I can use different English verb tenses to describe what happened or what will happen. I can speak English easily, and I am easily understood. (Intermediate – High)

OPCIONES DE NIVEL DE CLASE
Cuando se registre, deberá elegir su nivel de clase. Aquí están las descripciones de los niveles de clase.
- NIVEL BÁSICO - Puedo nombrar un par de elementos en inglés, pero no puedo describir lo que está sucediendo a mi alrededor en inglés. (Principiantes)
- NIVEL 1 - Puedo nombrar algunos elementos en inglés, pero no puedo describir lo que sucede a mi alrededor con oraciones completas en inglés. Por lo general, uso una palabra o frases cortas para describir lo que está sucediendo. Hablo inglés muy lentamente y, a menudo, es difícil para los demás entenderme cuando trato de hablar inglés. (Principiantes - Bajo)
- NIVEL 2 - Puedo describir mi entorno de forma limitada en inglés. Puedo nombrar más cosas en inglés y puedo usar más frases u oraciones para describir cosas en inglés, pero mis oraciones pueden tener errores. Puede ser difícil para otros entender mi inglés debido a errores de pronunciación. (Principiantes - Alto)
- NIVEL 3 - Puedo describir lo que sucede a mi alrededor en inglés usando oraciones completas. Aunque algunas de mis oraciones no son correctas, puedo usar más palabras en inglés y puedo explicar las cosas con mayor detalle. Puedo usar el tiempo pasado o el tiempo futuro para describir lo que sucedió o lo que sucederá. Otros pueden tener alguna dificultad para entender mi pronunciación en inglés. (Intermedio - Bajo)
- NIVEL 4 - Puedo describir lo que sucede a mi alrededor en cinco o seis oraciones en inglés. Puedo nombrar más cosas en inglés y puedo describirlas en detalle. A veces utilizo oraciones complejas cuando hablo en inglés. Mis oraciones son fáciles de entender y en su mayoría correctas. Puedo usar diferentes tiempos verbales en inglés para describir lo que sucedió o lo que sucederá. Puedo hablar inglés con facilidad y me entienden fácilmente. (Intermedio - Alto)
