You can make a difference in someone's life.
Our enthusiastic volunteers come from all backgrounds, including teachers, real estate agents, retired federal workers, and other professions. Teaching classes, administrative support, being a conversation buddy, donating food and childcare (when classes are held on site) are some of the ways you can support our mission to improve the lives and opportunities of Sussex County non-English speaking adults. No formal instructional experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and willingness to help!
Volunteer positions include ESL teachers, teacher aides, teacher substitutes, children's program assistants, and Advisory Board members.
