LCOS is GROWING!!
At its November, 2010 meeting, the congregation voted to proceed with building expansion. Our contractor is Renew Energy Smart Renovations, a subsidiary of Schell Brothers in Rehoboth Beach, DE. We anticipate breaking ground in mid-March.
The expanded facility will help us meet the following needs:
-Commercial, health-department approved kitchen, which can be used to serve meals to the public;
-Expanded classroom and meeting space;
-Larger Fellowship Hall with additional storage space;
-Dedicated space for music ministries for performance, rehearsal, storage, etc.;
-Expanded Sanctuary with more seating, and space for music ministries;
-Fire suppression system;
-Additional restroom facilities with showers;
-Connecting main and education buildings via an enlarged Narthex.

The congregation undertook a capital fundraising and spiritual growth campaign, with the goal of raising $700,000 over a three-year period. As of January, 2011, over $580,000 has been gifted and pledged. If you would like to donate to the Building Fund, you can send a check made payable to Lutheran Church of Our Savior, with "building fund" in the memo line. All donations are tax deductible. We also can accept gifts of stocks, proceeds from IRA distributions, and other assets. Contact the church office at (302) 227-3066 if you are interested in this kind of donation.
