Music Ministry
The Chancel Choir is open to all adults who are interested in praising the Lord through choral music. The Choir serves as worship leaders at most Communion services and all festival celebrations. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm.
Deo Gloria and Campakneel Ensembles
The handbell ministry gives praise to God through joyous music with a full choir and ensemble groups utilizing the age old traditions of handbell ringing. We ring at LCOS services and reach out to our community through concerts and special events. Children are introduced to this ministry during Vacation Bible school, where they have fun and develop teamwork and find another way to serve the Lord through music. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. Workshops are available to all who wish to participate.
The Joyful Noise Choir includes all Sunday School students from pre-K through Middle School. Practicing during Sunday School openings, the choir sings on a monthly basis and for the annual Christmas program. These singers are also encouraged to see themselves in the role of worship leader. Children's Chime Choir for children in grades 3-8, meets on Sunday mornings from 8:45am-9:30am.
The Praise Team sings at the 9:30am contemporary service every Sunday, as well as at festival services and concerts. They offer a blend of original and well-known praise songs acompanied by instrumentalists. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 5:30pm.
